America Scores and P.S. 173 have been teaching students' soccer and poetry for several years now. Their goal has been to bring the love of soccer, poetry and a healthy life style to our community. A lot of people have taken notice including ESPN Deportes series “Futbol in America” with Denny Alfonso. During America Scores Winter camp ESPN Deportes visited P.S.173 to interview some of our coaches and players. Denny Alfonso interviewed our very own Mr. Jimenez and Devin Rosario about soccer in America and our Washington Heights community. We can’t wait to see our students and faulty on TV representing P.S.173.
