PS 173 Boys Scouts honored several veterans during WWII Veterans Appreciation Day. They met with the pilot who flew the last mission before the war ended and the nephew of the last soldier who fell. They listened to the veterans words of guidance. They learned about values and how everyone should focus on the bigger picture of "US" instead of "OURSELVES",remembering to support each other. The Boys Scouts were honored to participate along side these veterans and were grateful to receive an invitation to be part of the Veterans Day Parade.
