I​​ have ​​been ​​teaching ​​at ​​PS​​173 ​​for ​​16 years. I​ ​have ​​taught ​​kindergarten ​​and 2nd​​ grade,​ however this is my 6th ​​year ​​in ​​PreK. ​​I ​​grew ​​up ​​in ​​Southern ​​California,​​ graduated​​ from​​ the​ ​University of ​​California ​​at ​​Berkeley,​​ and ​​have ​​a ​​masters ​​in​​ education​ ​from​ ​Hunter​ ​College. ​​I ​​love​ ​children’s​ ​literature; right ​​now ​​the ​​​Olivia ​​series ​​by ​​Ian ​​Falconer ​​is ​​at ​​the ​​top ​​of ​​my ​​list of favorites. ​​Fun ​​facts: ​​​I ​play ​​tennis ​​on ​​a ​​USTA sponsored​​ league​ ​team​ ​and ​​I ​​have ​​belonged ​​to ​​the ​​same​ ​book ​​group ​​since​​1986.
